Kimo Williams

Kimo Williams is quite the renaissance man. He was born and raised on O’ahu. As a California resident now he is a singer/songwriter with a delightful CD titled “Island Boy” available on multiple music platforms online.

Additionally, he offers training in Hawaiian-Style Jujitsu, self-defense and health/healing methods and is a Danzan Healing practitioner. Danzan Healing is a holistic approach to wellness based in the fundamental wisdom of: Traditional Chinese Medicine and the principles of Qi, Japanese Seifukujitsu and the principles of tissue restoration, Hawaiian Ho’o ponopono and the principles of relationship balance.

Danzan healing arts were developed as a form of physical therapy in the early 20th century by the founder of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, Professor Seishiro Okazaki. Okazaki refined, practiced and taught the healing art to hundreds of individuals in pre and post WWII Hawaii. A Pacific-Asian healing system that utilizes therapeutic bodywork, herbs and energetic exchange to aid patients in “returning to normal.”  Students of the Danzan Healing Arts begin the study of this system by learning Professor Okazaki’s “Long-Life” restoration bodywork kata. This unique deep-tissue work is a phenomenally exact and mindful practice

We are delighted to have Kimo as part of the SIN Krew. He brings a special perspective to our conversations during our broadcasts.
